Our Philosophy

Tributary Collective was founded on our shared belief that homes are sanctuaries for our souls, cocoons for our families, and a warm embrace for our friends.  Creating spaces that evoke this sense of comfort comes from layering our surroundings with pieces that add richness and depth to blank canvases.  Often, these objects possess a patina; a tangible sign they have withstood the test of time and are more beautiful for it. Perfectly imperfect.

The passing of time has provided us with experiences in hospitality, wellness, design, and historic preservation.  These backgrounds and winding paths led us to conversations about combining our skills in ways that meld into our current season of life. On walks by a creek near our homes, Tributary Collective was conceptualized.  This same waterway acts as a tributary to a larger river, just as we hope the cherished items found within this site will be a small source of joy for your well-loved homes.

Come along on our journey as we collect timeless goods for curated spaces.

Warmly,

“The historic and the contemporary go hand in hand in the language of design, since design is the continuous re-use and revitalizing of forms so that they always have meaning for our way of life.”

-Martin Pegler, The Dictionary of Interior Design

Vintage Condition

Because our collections include antique and vintage items, some will have a patina that comes with age. Some may show wear and imperfections. While this part of the charm, we want to make sure each item is represented accurately in the images and description.
